so the last 5 days attachment was wonderful! although there were certain time i felt really irritated, especially by the noise, it was till great. simei care center/st andrew's community hospital.

simei care center was a different experience. the mentally sick people were juz simply, simple. childlike and loving. its juz really wonderful where we can be totally abnormal and do crazy stuff with them. you know it's juz so real, lovely and adorable.


st andrew's hospital was suppose to be like the "normal old ppl thing" but i've gotten more than tat, especially from the children's ward. kathrine and the malay boy, who suffers from cerebralpalsy (check it out). tricia, who suffers from serious fits who can eat sweets and is on a high protin and fats diet. and amanda who's someone different. yeahh and all these was really an eye opener for me and i wat i learn more from these kids was LOVE. like how God loved each and everyone of us no matter who or wat we are.

one of my most fullfilling day of the week.

1) talking during the debrief.
hey its not that i like to keep things to myself but its caz i'll only talk when i really think its time for me to talk or give comments.

2) going to the kids ward and make katherine unsually happy (as wat the nurses said)

3) taking that step of faith to talk to that girl who's covered with tattoos.

like u noe how scary it is actually! she's a year older than me, small tattoos on her hand and big ones on her legs. with a funky pai kia hair style, not smiling but juz playing her psp with earpiece on.
SO like u noe i really do have such interest in such people but yet it's really freaky. like it's the first time i've seen a girl with SO MANY TATTOOS at such a age?
but yet i felt God calling me to talk to her?
although i was super super held back, it came to the point when the servers were busy playing with the kids. and worst thing that could ever happen was when joel decided to play with this little boy who was standing beside her bed, checking out her psp.
and u noe i felt really sad for her, like how we were playing with all the kids in the ward except her n we didnt even bother to smile at her, like what we always do to the old people in the hospital.
ITS SUPER POOR THING OK. u noe how boring a hospital can be?
SO I TOOK UP MY HIDDEN COURAGE, WALK TO HER BED, AND SAID "hi, how are you feeling?".
climax i tell u.
i was so scared i'll be diao-ed at, or ignored lahh
BUT GUESS WAT.
SHE ACTUALLY PUT DOWN HER PSP, TOOK OFF HER EARPIECE, AND STARTED TALKING TO ME.

man i tell you sense of relieve! and she's super uber nice.!.
talked to her for awhile,
then joel saw me talking to her n intro himself.
and after awhile alvan and shuan came to intro themself.
and after she left for her exercise (physiotherapy), joel was like "i didnt dare to talk to her at first." (something like tat. yeah its the tattoo thing.)

and all i can say was,
it was a step of faith.
and it made my day.

i wish i could talk to her more.
anyways, she was in a motorcycle accident, broke her hands and hip bone. ouch. and she's in the hospital for 3 mths already. her first tattoo was at THIRTEEN, on her back, and she wants to be a future tattoo artist, but OBVIOUSLY her mum objects. HAHA.

and those were some of the information i got from talking to her.

mummy's bday was 2 days ago. i like the fact that she had a 'party'. but i hate it caz ppl thinks tat its a new year party and not a birthday cum new year party. like the way relatives comes with out knowing its my mummy's birthday. and i felt that the cutting cake time was insincere. and seriously, i really wanted mummy to be happy on her birthday.
and it seemed like she was busy cooking n all tat i didnt have valuable birthday time with her or with family.
i like the family's tradition where we will cut cake at 12midnight. but this year sis claims tat we should celebrate during the 'party' so no midnight birthday cake.

yeah crowd isnt everything.
